Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I trust Sit Click Stay Play to care for my pets?

-I am insured, bonded, certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have over 10 years of experience providing pet care. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, which ensures that I stay up to date with continuing education and maintaining credentials. I volunteer as a puppy raiser for service dogs in training with Canine Partners of the Rockies, as well as with Humane Colorado (formerly Dumb Friends League) as a dog walker.

How do I book your services?

-First an initial Meet & Greet must be completed to go over our services and to get to know you and your pets. Then you will be able to set up a personal account on the website that I will approve. Once your account is approved, click the “Book Now” button on the "Home" or “Pricing” pages. Then simply log in, review the availability calendar and fill out the request form.

-If the dates are approved, an invoice will be sent to your email requesting a 50% deposit to secure the dates. Once payment of deposit is received, the dates are considered confirmed.

-Remaining 50% payment is due 48 hours before service date.

-If invoice is not paid in full 24 hours prior to start date, service will be cancelled.

 

What should I have ready for my FREE meet and greet

-Please be ready to review your pet's food, medications, emergency vet contact info, behaviors, leashes, any special toys or blankets and any specific requests for your pets’ care. Have extra house keys ready and/or any door codes needed. If you wish to have dog walking provided, be prepared us to go on a brief walk so I can see how your pet does on leash.

How do I make a payment?

-Once booking request is approved, you will receive an invoice with a link to payment.

-Payments can be made via credit card through the invoice link, as well as Venmo or cash if preferred.

Do you offer boarding?

-I currently only offer overnight pet care in the pet owners' home. This way your pets are kept in a safe, secure and familiar environment while your home is being looked after. 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

-Client cancellation requests must be made within 72 hours (3 days) of initial deposit payment to receive a full refund.

-Any cancelation requests made after the 72 hour grace period will not receive a refund of deposit.

Short-notice bookings:

-Any booking requests initiated within 1 week of requested service start date are considered short-notice and payment is due in full within 72 hours (3 days) of invoice date or 48 hours (2 days) of service start date (whichever comes first) to confirm service dates if available.

What is your rescheduling policy?

-Any rescheduling requests may also be made within 72 hours (3 days) of initial deposit payment. However, client must first review the availability calendar on the "Book Now" page and abide by current availability.

-For rescheduling requests made within the 72 hour grace period that requires a different number of dates or change of services from the initial booking, an updated invoice will issued that reflects the change. Deposit paid will be applied to new invoice.

-While we will do what we can to accommodate rescheduling requests made after the 72 hour grace period, such requests are not be guaranteed and will not receive a refund of deposit. 

 

Do you care for other species of animals?

-I only offer pet care to cats and dogs

Do you walk multiple dogs at once?

-I only walk one client’s dog/s at a time in order to ensure safety and a personalized caring experience.

Are you able to administer medications for my pets?

-Yes, during our initial meet and greet, we will go over any specific medical needs your pet may have, including medications, dosages and establish a regimen for their medical care if necessary.

 

What if there is an emergency with my pet while I’m away

-Prior to having me stay with your pet, it is important to provide an emergency contact and preferred vet so I am able to quickly address an emergency and get your pet the care they need. You will be asked to provide this information during our meet and greet.

 

Do you offer house cleaning?

-While I do not specifically provide full house cleaning services, I do clean any messes from the pets and maintain cleanliness of the home during my stay. I leave the home as clean as I find it.

 

What if I want to modify the amount of time for drop ins and dog walks?

-I offer drop-ins and dog walking for a minimum of 30 mins per visit to ensure adequate time for quality care.

Maximum time per visit is 60 mins. However, clients may request more than 1 visit per day if needed.

 

What quality of photography/videography do you offer?

-You know your pet better than anyone and while you’re away, it can be so reassuring to see that big smile on their face right before getting a treat, or a content peaceful sleepy face from getting lots of cuddles.

While I’m not the airbrush/photoshop expert kind of pet photographer, I capture more than just proof that they’re doing okay. I strive to capture their personalities where you can see their faces and can read their emotions. I also add fun audio to an edited sizzle reel for the short video package (Ruby Package.)
